OFFICIAL VISIT OF MR. MATTHEW HINSON TO THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE ON 07 MARCH 2023

In view of meeting and conducting a discussion with the National Anti Human Trafficking Task Force (NAHTTF), a face to face meeting was conducted between Major General J R Kulatunga, Chief of National Intelligence, Mr. Matthew Hinson, Political Officer representing the Embassy of the United States of America in Sri Lanka and some stakeholders of the Task Force (TF). This meeting was held at the National Intelligence Division (NID) with the participation of Ms. Mayuri Perera, Secretary to the TF and other members of the Internal Committee of the NAHTTF.

Discussions were conducted on several aspects including the role of stakeholders in the journey of combating Human Trafficking and the measures taken for the purpose of combating human trafficking.

Mr. Hinson bid adieu after a productive and detailed conversation with the Internal Committee and stakeholders and expressed his full and strong willingness to extend his support and cooperation in this giant effort.
