PROJECT “IMPACT” (STRENGTHENING GOVERNMENT AND CSO CAPACITY TO COMBAT TIP AND CREATE GREATER IMPACT)

Combat human trafficking in the selected districts and at the central level through targeted interventions both at the community and national levels, while addressing the main gaps in reporting and identifying TIP in the country. Specifically focusing on strengthened collaborative efforts between government and non-government stakeholders; addressing the root causes and vulnerabilities that expose individuals to the risk of human trafficking; preventing the crime through greater awareness, supporting the prosecutors & enhancing access to protection and other services to VoTs, whilst adopting a victim-centric and survivor informed approach.

IMPACT PROJECT ACTIVITIES CONTRIBUTING TO NSAP

The government, civil society, and stakeholders prevent, identify, and report human trafficking due to coordination mechanisms and strategies (procedural and legal) being assessed, reviewed, upgraded, and operationalized at the national level and in selected districts.

Government and non-government stakeholders (NGOs) have been capacitated/trained to identify & refer VoTs.

VoTs have access to direct assistance provision & systematized services.
