VISIT OF SAFE FOUNDATION OFFICIALS AT THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE ON 09 MARCH 2023

Civil Society Organizations play a vital role in raising awareness among general public in this journey of combating Human Trafficking in Sri Lanka.

Similarly, Safe Foundation renowned for its contribution in the identification and referral of human trafficking incidents while assisting the victims, had the opportunity of meeting the internal committee of the National Anti Human Trafficking Task Force chaired by the Chief of National Intelligence, Major General JR Kulatunga.

Mr. Hinson bid adieu after a productive and detailed conversation with the Internal Committee and stakeholders and expressed his full and strong willingness to extend his support and cooperation in this giant effort.

During the discussion, several officials from the Foundation explained how they have developed their system to identify and help VoTs along with their achievements so far and their future plans.

At the end of the discussion, the Chief of National Intelligence expressed his sincere gratitude to the Safe Foundation for their immense contribution and willingness to extend helping hand in their efforts to save our nationals and ensure safe migration.
