The response to Human Trafficking is predicated on Prevention, Protection, Prosecution and Partnership according to the National Strategic Action Plan to Monitor and Combat Human Trafficking (2021 – 2025). The NAHTTF is committed to curb Human Trafficking in all its forms and manifestation.
In line with same, NAHTTF conducted a cluster meeting on 19 May 2023 with Senior Officials from Institute of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, State Ministry of Women and Child Development, Pre-schools and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Services, Department of Probation & Child Care Services, National Child Protection Authority and Child and Women Abuse Prevention Division.
On behalf of the Secretary Defence and Chairman of NAHTTF, Maj. Gen. Ruwan Kulatunga, Chief of National Intelligence, presided over the meeting.
