On 13 July 2023, Ms Sarah Lou Arriola the Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of International Organization for Migration (IOM) had a meeting with the members of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (NAHTTF) during her official visit to Sri Lanka. The Chief of Mission for Sri Lanka and Maldives of IOM, Mr. Sarat Dash and officials of the IOM attended at the event. This meeting strengthened the collaboration between IOM and NAHTTF and discussed the matters in common interest during the meeting.

Ms. Sarah Laou Arriola the appreciated Political will of the Sri Lankan Government to fight against the Human Trafficking and congratulate the NAHTTF for the effort in the fight against Human Trafficking. Further, she highlighted that, the IOM helps the events which bring the countries together in the region, to fight against Human Trafficking.
